Typically, an effective response will contain a minimum of 300 words 题目原文: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Technology has made children less creative than they were in the past. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. If we think it twice, then it may be to say that technology has developed a lot during these decades, not only inventions have developed, but also computers and mobile phones. It is not to say that technology is good in everything because there is the internet that you can almost post everything on or can learn anything just by typing the answers in. It is great in social life because it is quicker to talk to people rather than running to and back to your friend’s house just to tell them a secret. It can also be realized by everybody. It is also good in studying because you can hire online teachers to help you especially if you are homeschooling. But this is related to the Ostrich Bias meaning that if you think something is good you tend to ignore are the disadvantages of the things you like just because you believe in some myth. I support the idea that technology is making children less creative in the past for a few reasons. First of all technology is telling children everything from knowledge to pictures and other stuff. In the older days people tend to think of something and write them down and build it themselves, while people nowadays after having an idea, instead of trotting it down on some papers type it online and check to see some models and imitating one just like it. It seems okay at first sight.
Another more simple explanation is during an art competition where you get permission to draw at home and then bring it to school to show. In older days people were more creative and think of things themselves, while people nowadays only think about what they are going to draw, and then they will type it online and look for good pictures to copy and get a good prize. Teachers often say that competitions nowadays are making children more creative, however the competitions now are also allowed to do it at home meaning that copying and other stuff are all on the page. Not only is this not good for people being more creative, it also makes the person’s brain more un-active because they tend to trust everything online rather than thinking of an explanation to explain it themselves.
