1、concede
concede是动词,常见的有三个意思。
首先,指不情愿或勉强地“承认”。
The Government has conceded that the new tax policy has been a disaster. 承认新的税收政策是彻底失败的。
That principle now seems to have been conceded. 那条原则现在似乎已被承认了。
第二,指不情愿地”让步,让与,答应”。
He is not willing to concede any of his authority. 他不愿交出自己的任何权力。

concert作名词,意为“音乐会”,词组 in concert指“音乐会现场演出”。
We were going to a concert in Bath Abbey. 我们要去听一场在巴思修道院内举行的音乐会。
They're appearing in concert tonight at the Royal Concert Hall. 他们今晚将在皇家音乐大厅登台演出。

concession是常见的重要名词,常见的主要有两个意思。

concise是 形容词,意为“简洁的,简明的”,等于brief。 Burton's text is concise and informative. 伯顿的文章语言简洁,信息丰富。 Whatever you are writing make sure you are clear, concise, and accurate. 无论写什么,一定要清晰、简练、准确。6、conclude
